These bifocal sunglasses with clear frame from V.W.E. are the perfect solution for me. I can drive and still clearly see my gas gauge and speedometer and my GPS screen. Perfect! The second pair I keep in my purse for reading on the beach, etc. so I appreciate the included, microfiber pouches to keep them from getting scratched in my purse.The lenses are clear and distortion free and screen out UV rays.The frames are similar to the RayBan Wayfarer style. I have a big head and these are extremely comfortable.These are inexpensive so I don’t expect them to last forever but since I have a tendency to lose or sit on my sunglasses and reading glasses, they are exactly what I wanted.
I ordered these on a whim, not expecting much. But they’re actually quite good. My biggest problem with sunglasses is that I can’t have them squeeze my head – I have a lot of headaches. Anyway, these do not squeeze and they are light and comfortable. I like where the readers are placed as well. For just needing something to use so I can see my phone when I am outside, these are just right.
The glasses are pretty good. They may take a moment to get used to. but then it’s smooth sailing. For look, I prefer when the corrective/magnification part of the lens is on the inside of the lens. I have a pair like that and they look like any other pair of sunglasses. Still, that is a small thing for the flexibility these give you.
I wear these while driving so that I can read my watch and my phone (I know, I know, but sometimes you have to look). Good sun protection, and good bifocal area, but not too big. Not particularly stylish, but that’s not why I bought them. They look good enough.
